GFH Properties visited Asharqia Chamber along with a delegation headed by Mr. Abdul Hakim Al Shammari, member of the executive committee and Vice President of the Bahraini Saudi Joint Business Council. GFH Properties Announces Commencement of Works on The Harbour Row Project
GFH Properties, the real estate arm of GFH Financial Group, announced today the official commencement of works on its US$150 million Harbour Row Project.
Harbour Row has been envisioned by its developers, GFH Properties, to bring to market world-class amenities, prestigious lifestyle brands and global citizens together in a vibrant development which will include some 475 residential units across six buildings in addition and a broad range of expected retail outlets and other related facilities which offers similar facilities to other financial hubs around the world such as London Docklands, South Beach Miami and Sydney Harbour.
Having completed site preparation and mobilization activities upon their appointment in December 2016, Al Moayyed Contracting (AMC), the project’s main contractors, have now begun with works on Harbour Row starting with the commencement of foundation and piling works, which will encompass the execution of 575 contiguous piles and some 200 structural piles are in progress, which was earlier initiated with projection work and sub structuring.
Moreover, GFH Properties has appointed DG Jones and Partners as the Project’s manager and cost consultant and Aref Sadeq Designs as the supervision consultants for Harbour Row.

GFH Properties Appoints Mr. Mohammed Khalil Ahmed as Chief Commercial Officer
GFH Properties, the real estate arm of the GFH Financial Group, today announced the appointment of Mr. Mohammed Khalil Ahmed as its new Chief Commercial Officer. In this capacity, Mr. Ahmed will focus on all areas related to commercialization and management of GFH Properties development and managed assets.
Mr. Mohammed joins GFH Properties with 15 years of experience in commercial management, business development, strategic planning, revenue optimisation, management and diversification as well as deep real estate sector experience spanning development, design and project, construction and contract management.
Prior to joining the firm, he was most recently Chief Commercial Officer at the Bahrain Airport Company, where he began in 2012 and was responsible for managing all airport revenues including those related to aeronautical and non-aeronautical streams. His previous experience includes eight years at Al Khaleeji Development Company (Tameer), where he was an Executive Director in the Property Development and Services department. Other related roles include key positions at First Gulf Real Estate Company in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Technal Middle East and Architectural World.

GFH Properties Awards AlMoayyed Contracting with Development Mandate for Harbour Row Project
GFH Properties is the real estate arm of the GFH Financial Group, announced today that it has appointed AlMoayyed Contracting as the Main Contractor of its Harbour Row project in Bahrain Financial Harbour.
As per this mandate, all contracting works, including foundations, construction, mechanical, internal and external finishing works of the Harbour Row project, will be assigned to AlMoayyed Contracting. The Harbour Row project consists of 450 residential units, in addition to retail outlets with a waterfront view as part of the Bahrain Financial Harbour project, which is located at the heart of the capital Manama. The total cost of the project is valued at approximately US$150m.
The Letter of Award was signed by Mr. Majed AlKhan, Chief Executive Officer of GFH Properties and Ms. Hala AlMoayyed, Executive Director of AlMoayyed Contracting, in the presence of Mr. Laith Al Memar, Chief Development Officer at GFH Properties, and a number of executive management members from AlMoayyed Contracting Group.

GFH Properties Participates in Cityscape Global Dubai
GFH Properties today announced that it will participate at this year’s 15th Cityscape Global being held in Dubai between 6 to 8 September 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, while showcasing a number of its new landmark GCC-based development projects.
GFH Properties projects to be featured at the event are the Harbour Row residential project and the adjoining Harbour North commercial and retail area in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Harbour Row will include six buildings in total comprising of 450 residential units and retail area supported by full leisure and commercial facilities being developed in the adjacent Harbour North located in prime waterfront areas of the Bahrain Financial Harbour (BFH).
